Midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi is confident Nordsjaelland can recover from Wednesday’s Uefa Champions League defeat at Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Danish champions, making their debut appearance in Europe’s elite inter club competition were humbled 2-0 by the Russian giants at the Donbass Arena.
The 22-year, who recently a three–year extension to his existing contract saw full time for the side and says they have picked the positives from the defeat.
“It is our first time and the game was against a side that has so much experience in the competition,” Kofi told GHANAsoccernet.com
“We have picked up some useful lessons going into our next game and I believe it will be a different story.
“We are going to fight and make a significant impact.”
Nordsjaelland’s next game will be against Chelsea at home.
Shakhtar Donetsk is UCRANIAN not Russian! Poor journalism!
well said Adu and may God give you the strength and grace for the rest of the matches. God be with you
