Ghanaian midfielder Michael Helegbe registered his fourth pre-season goal for Tripoli SC as his solitary strike gave them a 1-0 win over Al Nejmeh.
The former Ghana U23 captain has found a new lease of life with Lebanese Premier League side in six matches after moving from Medeama SC last month.
ââ¬ÅThis is not new to me. I have played abroad before and my form here in Lebanon can only get better,â⬠Helegbe told GHANASoccernet.com
ââ¬ÅThis is my fourth goal and I am really happy with my integration it feels like I have played here for a very long time but I just came in.
ââ¬ÅHopefully I stay fit and continue this way to push for a return to the national side.ââ¬
Helegbe has had spells with Belgium side KV Oostende and then French Ligue II side En Avant de Guingamp.
