Michael Essien is confident Real Madrid will go past Dortmund when the two giants clash in the Uefa Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Spanish heavyweight travel to Germany knowing victory will put them in good stead in group D.
They lie on top with maximum points from their opening two games and the 29-year-old who was deployed in an unfamiliar role of left back in their 2-0 win over Celta Vigo has no doubt they can scale the hurdle at the intimidating Signal Iduna Park.
“It will be a very difficult game. “However, we have to play to win against Dortmund,” Essien told Marca.
“We will have to be on top of our game in order to bag the full three points.”
Essien is on a season-long loan from Chelsea and has impressed so far for the Galacticos.
Good luck, Bro!
Essien must score his first goal for real madrid
With time he would so, at the moment his first responsibility is to defend.
Michael Essien is one ugly POS. Just like the rest of them Ghanaians.
