Midfielder Micheal Helegbe has vowed to rescue Medeama 's sinking ship and make it sea-worthy once again after their 1-0 defeat to AshantiGold on Sunday in an outstanding match.

The Yellow and Mauves slipped to their second defeat within eight days and slipped into the bottom three.

Medeama now have little room for error in their reaming two outstanding matches against Liberty and Heart of Lions.

Helegbe, who missed the match against AshGold due to illness, is assuring fans he will do more to reverse their club's trend.

"We haven't done so much justice to our colors in recent times which we are aware of but football sometimes is that way you go through rough patches," the former Kotoko player told GHANASoccernet.com

"From my side I will give my all to see us finish at a respectable position that I will do to my fullest capacity."
