Ghana ace Michael Essien says AC Milan must work on their second half performance after last Mondayââ¬â¢s 2-1 defeat at Fiorentina.
The Rossoneri took the lead Dattia Maestro opened on five minutes but conceded two goals in six minutes to win at home.
Essien was handed a starting role and was replaced on the 90thà minute mark by Giampaolo Pazzini.
The former Chelsea star was disappointed with the manner they had a winning position slip by.
"It was a really strange match in Florence. In my opinion, we could have wrapped it up in the first half, because we had a lot of chances,â⬠Essien told Milan Channel.
ââ¬ÅThen after the goal in the second half I really donââ¬â¢t know what happened. We dropped back and we started to be put under pressure by them.
ââ¬ÅWe always play well in the first half, while we drop-off in the second half. Honestly I donââ¬â¢t know the reason why. Itââ¬â¢s an aspect we have to work on."
