Michael Essien is in action for Chelsea

Ghana midfielder Michael Essien is in action for Chelsea in their game against Crystal Palace in English Premier League after Jose Mourinho named him in hi starting line-up.

The 31-year-old has gotten his second Premiership of the season and is hoping to impress for his side.

Essien’s maiden start came at Sunderland with the midfielder committing a blunder that led to Chelsea conceding under three minutes.

He has taken the place of Nigerian John Mikel Obi.
