Michael Essien set for Real Madrid debut against Sevilla

Posted On Tuesday, 11th September 2012

Michael Essien could make his Real Madrid debut against Sevilla on Saturday

Michael Essien is set to debut for Real Madrid in this Saturday’s La Liga encounter with Sevilla.

The combative Ghanaian signed for Los Blancos on loan on transfer deadline day but was not expected to feature so soon given his knee issues.

However AS report that Essien has taken advantage of not being called up by his country over the international weekend to train hard at Valdebebas, with Jose Mourinho said to be so impressed that he is giving serious consideration to starting his former Chelsea pupil in the clash at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan this Saturday night.

Essien is like a kid with new shoes,” a club insider is quoted as saying.

“At Chelsea he was unfortunate with injuries but now he knows Mourinho has given him a second chance in the elite of football.”

Real Madrid are close favourites to win La Liga and Champions League this season, and are 12/1 to do the league and european double with online casinos or bookmakers such as http://paddypowerapp.com.

Aww, bro we wish u well. Trust me Chelsea will bite their finger for loaning u out. I foresee Chelsea being eliminated by Madrid and Essien was the thorn in their flesh. I pray u get injury free season.

    • GHANAarmedROBBER says:

Chelsea will never bite their fingers for Micheal……I wonder what you all will say if Micheal were to be Eden Hazzard or someone else…..if Micheal was that important to Chelsea’s plans this season the club wouldnt have lkoaned out at the first play….reason bro and stop sentimental comments…..Micheal is not a world class player dont forget….even when he was at his best playing for Ghana what did the BS win?????nothing!!!!

  2. Isaac Beckon says:

Chelsea will surely regret 4 loaning u 2 madrid after ur debut against sevilla, but wit daddy mourinho it shal be wel wit u….

    • GHANAarmedROBBER says:

Why will Chelsea regret????……Stupid comment……Chelsea is bigger than 10 Micheal Essien put together….Please check your comments next time…….he was not playing when we won the Champions league…….even when he was at his best can you tell me what Chelsea won…just the league and FA cups….nonsense any other team in the premiership can win those…..You should understand that loaning him out means he is surplus to our requirement for this season and Chelsea has a good understanding with Madrid so it was easy to make the loan deal…..use your head bro and don’t comment out of sentiments or emotions.

“GHANAarmedrobber” hope u r not sounding like ur name. Messi n C Ronaldo have won world best many times but what hav they won for Argentina n Portugal respectively. The problem was simple, R. Di Mateo didn’t know how to use Essien and has since being playing wit de old rule “Don’t change the winning team” and Mourinho took advantage of it n came for Essien.

  8. Noble king says:

Essien has all it takes to florish at madridall the best THE BISON

  9. dennis says:
