  3. Joe says:

GSN is diserminatng crap.Essien is bankng £12m per yr aftr all deductns frm salries alone without bonuses nd other goodwills.Yaya hit £18 m per yr. Sponsorships pays whooping amonts to plyrs investmnts accts nd business shares which in turns generates millions on quarterly nd annual basis so who is GSN misinformng. The amount they mention is only Essiens annual salary minus allowances, trophies nd goodwills plus sponsorships nd not his carriers worth.GSN mst sy sorry to Essien.

    • Fred B. Kyeremeh says:

Check your records well and stop criticising GSN.They are not the source of the information.Check http://www.goal.com and you will see for your self. The survey was conducted by a very credible organization. For the records,Essien’s annual income is not up to the 12million pounds you want us to believe. A simple calculation of his gross weekly wages alone doesn’t amount to that amount.Do not thrown dust into our eyes. Goal.com’s publication sought to let readers know about the players’ WORTH and not their salaries or earnings in a year. A player can be earning so much but will not be worth that same amount of money, bearing in mind that they spend their earnings. How much a player is worth includes his assets in general,in terms of investments, both financial and in realty among others.Let us not confuse the meaning of worth and salaries and stuffs like that. GSN cannot be accused in any sense for this publication. They duly referred to the source of the info.Check the first paragraph. Thank you
