Michael Anaba is confident Kotoko will retain Premier League crown

Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Anaba revealed he was confident his side could retain the Premier League crown after the 2-1 win over Tema Youth.

The Porcupine Warriors were clearly the better side against the Harbour-Warriors and came away with an important win and all three points at the Tema sports stadium.

The impressive Ghana Under-20 star believed the victory over Youth had given Kotoko the necessary confidence to continue their winning ways.

“We are very happy with our performance and we’ll hope the victory will continue,” Anaba told GHANAsoccernet.com

“It was an important fixture and if you look at the history of the two teams, the game really lived up to expectation.

“We are confident of continuing with our winning ways and hopefully defend our title.”
