Kotoko midfielder Michael Anaba has been appointed the deputy captain of the Black Satellites for his work ethics.
The 18-year-old workaholic enforcer is part of the final 21-man squad announced by trainer Sellas Tetteh for this month’s African Youth Championship in Algeria.
He will deputized for Ashantigold defender Lawrence Lartey who will wear the armband as the substantive captain for the team.
The Black Satellites have been fine-tuning in Catalonia, Spain ahead of the continental showpiece.
The Ghanaians are in group A where they will battle hosts Algeria, Egypt and Benin.
