The injury crisis at Medeama has worsened after the club revealed there are concerns over nine first team players.

Goalkeeper Joseph Halm, Sabato Mohammed, Atia Sumaila, Joseph Gordon, Cephas Awunoor, Ebo Duncan and Yusif Ali have joined Larbi Koomson and Hans Kwoffie in the treatment room.

The situation is believed to be a major source of worry for head coach Bashir Hayford who will need all his troops fit for difficult games ahead.

The players are racing against time to be fit for their trip to Aduana Stars on Sunday.

“The injury situation is a worrying one for us. These are very important players for the team,” Medeama team manager Daniel Nii Addoquaye told medeamasc.com

“We hope they will recover in time because we need them to help us win the League”

The Mauves and Yellows are top of the table and travel to Dorma to face Aduana Stars.
