Medeama’s Eric Kwabena Adusei believes he deserves to be named the Premier League’s Best Defender for the 2011/12 season.
The central defender managed six goals in 25 league games this term.
He also has one goal to his credit in this year’s MTN Ghana FA Cup competition and says his exploits beats all competition for the award.
“I played almost every game this season and scored six goals, I don’t think anyone has managed to score that much as defender this season,” he said.
“So clearly I deserve to win the award but it is not up to me.
“I believe the public are the best judges of my performance but I am sure they will agree I deserve the accolade with my achievements this season.”
what is this Adusie guy talking about?,that he thinks he can win the best defender of the year?aah what is he talking about,is he not part of the medeama team that has let in plenty of goals this season, even I have watch hi m played a number of games and he makes a lot of mistakes which cost medeama a lot.
May be he should convert from a defender to a striker like Louis Agyeman. How could you be leaving your role as defender to attack and get attached at the rate Medeama leaked at the back.

Even ben acheampong(black stars striker) has only manage to score 4 competitve goals da whole season…
