Medeama trio to miss Tema Youth tie on Sunday

Posted On Wednesday, 2nd January 2013

Medeama will be without three players against Tema Youth on Sunday

Medeama will be without three influential players ahead of Sunday’s game against Tema Youth at home.

Deputy captain Otuo Acheampong, Bismark Asiedu and Theophilus Anobah are part of the local Black Stars squad that are preparing for an international tournament in Brazil.

The team has been preparing at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium ahead of the tournament, meaning they will not be available to play the final game that ends the first round at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park.

“It’s unfortunate to leave the team at this time when we’re needed most,” Acheampong told medeamasc.com

“Though we’re not there physically, our prayers are with them. We’re confident we’ll end the first round on top.”
