Medeama President Moses Armah has credited the return to form of his team to the good foundation laid by former coach Prince Owusu.
Owusu had to leave the Mauve and Yellows just months after taking over as he was given the opportunity to become the assistant coach to Kwesi Appiah at Sudanese club Al Khartoum.
Medeama thus suffered from the sudden departure of their head coach as they had to endure a consistent start to the season.
But the side is now coming off a famous win over Hearts of oak which sees them return to the finals of the MTN FA Cup where they will be facing Asante Kotoko.
The side’s form in the domestic league has also improved in recent weeks.
Club President Moses Armah has attributed the gradual rise of the team to the good system left behind by his former coach Prince Owusu.
"I will credit Prince Owusu for the solid foundation he left behind for this team," he said.
"Unfortunately he had to leave us to breather things with Kwesi Appiah but then it is based on his good work that the team is currently thriving."
