Midfielder Michael Helegbe says Wednesday’s outstanding Premier League game against Hearts won’t be a walk in the park for Medeama.

The Mauve and Yellows will host the capital-based side at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park hoping to bag another win in the Ghanaian top-tier.

Medeama have been inconsistent this season after losing grounds in the title race despite their impressive run in their debut campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Helegbe, who joined the side from Kotoko, feels the clash against Hearts will be hard fought.

“It’s not going to be easy at but we’re ready for them,” he said

“Playing in the domestic League and Africa are two different scenarios. We have to get our loins ready for the big game.

“We know Hearts won their last game in an impressive fashion and so we’ll be determined to beat us here.

“But we also need the points badly and they only way to get that is to beat them in Tarkwa.

Medeama are in mid-table with 26 points with two outstanding games.
