Medeama team gets new sponsors

Medeama SC have landed a three-year sponsorship deal worth $240,000 with Ghana Manganese Company (GMC).

The club is to receive $80,000 each year for a period of three years.

Executive Vice chairman Albert Commey however say the team’s performance from now on should reflect on the immense financial support it’s getting.

“The deal has been on the discussion table for some time now up until this stage,” he said.

“The deal is worth $80,000 per year for three years.

“We are grateful but we also know we need to up our performance to reflect on the kind of financial support we are receiving.”

The landmark sponsorship with GMC becomes the second major behind the one being offered by fellow mining firm, Goldfields.

Medeama are currently on top of the Ghana Premier League haven garnered 30 points from 16 games.
