Medeama Executive vice-president Albert Commey insists the side will not make any new signings in the transfer window.

The Mauves and Yellows have been dislodged from the summit of the table after going 2-0 at Aduana Stars last Sunday.

The team has been blighted by injuries to key members of the squad including Hans Kwoffie, Larbi Koomson and goalkeeper Joseph Halm.

It was widely believed coach Bashir Hayford was going to add som fresh limps to the squad ahead of the second round of the league.

But the club’s Executive vice-president has ruled out bringing in new players.

“We’re not going to make any new signings. We have a solid team but for the injury situation we have on our hands,” Commey told Accra-based Peace FM

“It doesn’t look like the coach is keen on buying new players. We’ll support him in any decision that he takes.

“But I don’t think we’ll buy new players.

Medeama will host Berekum Arsenals at home before the festive period.
