Medeama denies planning attack on coach Abubakar

Medeama have denied planning attacks on coach Yussif Abubakar

Glo Premier League side SC Medeama have denied reports in the local media that claim they are planning attacks on their former coach Yussif Abubakar.

Abubakar makes a return to the Tarkwa T&N Park with Berekum Chelsea to face his former club in a week 4 Glo Premier League fixture on Wednesday.

Fans of the Tarkwa-based side are unhappy with Abubakar for quitting the club to take charge of Berekum Chelsea and there are reports they are planning to assault the former Hearts of Oak trainer.

But Medeama Public Relations Officer Stephen Pennah says the club’s fans have no such intentions.

“Management is not aware of any such things from the supporters and we are a professional side and we will not allow our fans to do a thing like that,” he told Accra-based Happy FM.
