Medeama insist the team is not in crisis after stuttering in their opening two Ghana Premier League matches.
The Mauves and Yellows were left frustrated at home last Sunday after drawing 1-1 with less-fancied Bechem United, which followed a goalless drawn reverse against Hasaacas in the Premier League opener.
The Tarkwa-based side however have played down talk of a crisis ahead of their trip to Berekum Chelsea.
“We’re disappointed because we dropped valuable points at home, but again this is the way it happens sometimes. For me there is no crisis- it’s just two bad results,” spokesperson Ebenezer Aidoo said
“It’s not the way you start the season but the way you finish.
“We have absolute trust in the coach and the players and I believe the results that we require will soon come.
“It’s just a matter of time. It’s too early to start talking about crisis.”
Medeama will travel to Berekum to face Chelsea on match-day three of the Ghanaian top-tier.
