Medeama SC coach Prince Owusu says the dispute between the club and key player Theophilus Anobaah is not distracting his preparations ahead of the start of the season.

The Mauve and Yellows have been deprived of arguably their best player who has vowed not to play for the club following a contractual disagreement.

“Anobaah is a good player and obviously he has a problem with management which needs to be sorted out,” Owusu told GHANASoccernet.com

“Am not bothered by his absence and preparation is ongoing well.

“I think I have spoken to him only once since I took over so I can’t say because of him we are distracted not at all.”

Medeama will host Hearts of Oak in the second leg of their two legged friendly.
