Medeama SC coach Roberto Carlos Paulette has rued his side's missed chances in their 'painful' 1-0 home loss to leaders Asante Kotoko in the First Capital Ghana Premier League on Thursday.
The CAF Confederations Cup campaigners were unable to avenge on a 4-0 first-leg defeat as the Porcupine Warriors overturned the odds to post a slender 1-0 victory over the Tarkwa-based side.
Despite exhibiting a dominant display, Medeama were unable to turn their dominance into goals as they missed golden opportunities in either halves.
"We played well and created many chances but we couldn't goals from them," he said in the post-match interview.
Medeama were highly fancied to claim the maximum points at stake but ended up losing and slipping to a lowly ninth place while Kotoko tighten their grip at the summit of the section, opening a seven-point lead at the top of table.
