Medeama coach given Ashantigold ultimatum

Posted On Wednesday, 28th November 2012

Bashir Hayford's future at Medeama is under scrutiny

Medeama coach Bashir Hayford will be fired if he fails to win Wednesday’s Premier League game against Ashantigold, GHANAsoccernet.com understands

Officials have laid down the condition for the coach to win against the miners to keep his job.

The former Asante Kotoko trainer is gradually becoming unpopuar among the club’s teeming supporters after their latest set-back.

The Mauves and Yellows have picked up a paltry one point from three games to heighten the pressure on the trainer ahead of the crunch game against Ashantigold.

Medeama are second on the table with 14 points from eight games.

i think clubs should be patient with coaches, especially when things are not going as planned. football is a patient game and inconsistent changing of coaches does not solve problems. coaches simply needs time to make things happen.
