The 19-year-old has held fruitful talks with the Mauves and Yellows and is tempted by a transfer fee of US$16,000
Boahene refused to extend his contract with the capital-based side after successful three-year stint with the club.
The ball-holding midfielder becomes the first official signing of the Tarkwa-based side ahead of the upcoming season.
