Medeama have announced the signing of Carlos Roberto Paullet as their new coach, the club confirmed on Wednesday.

“We have secured a man who is committed to the long-term ambitions of the club and will build team for the future and now,” Medeama president Moses Armah told the club’s official website.

“Paullet has tremendous strength of character and recognizes the important of bringing young players through and developing them alongside established players.

“At Medeama, I think Roberto will be able to express himself. I’m delighted he has accepted and I’m looking forward to working with him.”

The Peruvian has joined the Mauve and Yellows for an undisclosed number of years and fees.

He replaces Augustine Evans Adotey who reverts to his assistant role and will also be supported by Stephen Abugri.

Born and raised in South America, Carlos Roberto studied Sports and Science in England and in the United States.

He has a degree in Sports Psychology, as well as a degree in the training of coaches  from the English FA.

He also has a diploma in training lecturers for Universities from City and Guilds in the United Kingdom.

He is a UEFA license A certificate holder, wielding countless other coaching qualifications across actual practice and teaching.

Paullet previously had stints with South End United, Charlton Athletic, Tottenham and Ivorian Lique 1 side stella club d'adjamé.
