Ghana assistant coach Maxwell Konadu has slammed the Black Stars door in the face of Kotoko keeper Isaac Amoako insisting the World Cup-bound side do not have a goalkeeping problem.

The 30-year-old has earned raving reviews for his performance for Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League and was linked with a call-up to the Black Stars while question marks surrounded the form of first choice Fatau Dauda.

But after seeing his men hammer Egypt 6-1 to take a commanding step towards qualification to the Brazil 2014, Maxwell Konadu claims Ghana have no goalkeeping problems and suggests the Asante Kotoko keeper is not in their immediate plans.

"We do not have a goalkeeping problem," he responded after he was asked whether Amoako would be considered for a place in the Black Stars on Accra-based Oman FM.

Fatau Dauda's show against Zambia last month attracted a lot of criticism and Kwesi Appiah was forced to invite 35-year-old Richard Kingson.
