Match Report: Sekondi Hasaacas 1-1 Great Olympics - Wonder Club enhance survival chances with a point in Sekondi

Accra Great Olympics handed their relegation survival hopes a major boost after holding a ten-man Sekondi Hasaacas to a 1-1 pulsating draw at the Sekondi Stadium on Sunday.

In-form Striker Kwame Boateng steered the Wonder Club ahead in the 35th minute but the hosts levelled through new sensation Kojo Poku.

Yaw Acheampong remote-controlled the game with superior tactical plan deployed by former Ghana international Godwin Attram and executed by Kwame Boateng.

They made their dominance so apparent that Hasaacas even got a man sent off at the crucial moment when they were down by a goal as midfielder Theophilus Nyame had his marching orders from referee Awal Mohammed.

Boateng's opener was brilliantly inspired by Attram whose nimble-foot sliced the host defence before laying the ball for him to finish off.

Hasaacas appeared to have been dying out of the game until Kojo Poku levelled to the delight of the home fans.
