Inter Allies' miraculous rise on the Ghana Premier League table continued as they summoned New Edubiase United to a 1-0 defeat on Wednesday afternoon.
The Tema-based side have now surged to sixth place on the section and are completely away from the dangers of relegation.
It was a course started in the second round to beat the drop under the tillage of Herbert Addo and they now look in shape to even compete for a top four finish.
Their impressive display on the afternoon at the Tema Park was summed up with a lone strike from Senegalese import Niare Benego early in the second-half.
Wednesday's narrow victory over Edubiase who are also not completely safe, takes Allies (37) closer to both Heart of Lions and Hearts of Oak who are 41 points appease.
"It was a great win once again but all thanks to our coach Herbert Addo. He's just like a father to us and we like him for his work and how far he has brought us," defender Baba Mensah said in the post match interview.
Allies' impeccable record - unbeaten in 12 Premier League games, has set a new record in the second round of the league. The last time they lost was in mid February when they slipped to a 2-0 loss against Amidaus Professionals in a city derby.
