Berekum Chelsea managed to put their recent boardroom points issues behind them to beat visiting Kpando Heart of Lions 1-0 at the Golden City Park in Berekum in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.Â
Former Ghana U20 attacker Latif Salifu produced the only goal of the game for Chelsea and Lions were unable to crawl back into the game.
Chelsea who have suffered points deduction over failure to meet a FIFA directive but had filed a stay of execution before the game.
Lions were hoping for a positive results against the Blues but Salifu who had spent a lengthy spell on the sidelines with injury scored what was clinical finish.
