Masahudu Alhassan in action for Novara

Ghana defender Masahudu Alhassan earned a point for Novara in their 1-1 draw at Hellas Verona in the Italian Serie B on Friday night.

The left-back unleashed a cracker from 25 yards in the 85th minute drew level for Novara.

Hellas Verona took the lead after only four minutes through Martinho who finished off a nice move.

Alhassan played full-throttle for the side who lie in 12th place after five rounds of matches.

“I dedicate the goal to my family and to my agent, without forgetting Genoa, my former team,” the 20-year-old said.

“We can come to Serie A. We have to do it.”

Alhassan is on a season-long loan from Serie A side Genoa.
