Mas-Ud Dramani: Kotoko coach slams referee Agbovi for 'soft-penalty' in Super 2 clash
Mas-Ud Dramani has slammed referee Agbovi for penalty awarded to Hearts of Oak

Asante Kotoko head coach Mas-Ud Dramani has taken a swipe at referee William Agbovi for award a 'controversial' penalty to Hearts of Oak their Super 2 stalemate on Sunday afternoon.

Hearts of Oak needed a 93rd minute penalty, won by Isaac Mensah and converted by Ivorian defender Robin Gnagne to snatch a share of the spoils at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Kotoko fans and players reacted angrily to the Agbovi's decision and threw missiles onto the pitch to register their displeasure.

And, head coach Dramani was not too happy about the decision after the final whistle.

"This is poor decision because no where will this be accepted as a penalty, it’s shame but we have to accept it now because there is nothing we can do to rescind the decision back," he said in the post-match press conference.

The former Black Maidens coach also had words of praise for his side after the game.

"But it was a good exercise for this team, the boys played well and we are happy that we have come on top after the two games."
