Mas-ud Draman deserves plaudits - Michael Anaba

Posted On Tuesday, 19th February 2013

Mas-ud Draman is beginning to warm his way into the Heart of Kotoko faithfuls

Kotoko midfielder Michael Anaba says coach Mas-ud Draman deserves all the plaudits he has received since their heavy win over Sony ela Nguema in the Champions League.

The Porcupine Warriors have virtually secured their passage to the next stage of the competition after a historic 7-0 win over their opponent at the Baba Yara stadium last Sunday.

The defending league champions produced a classy performance in front of their home fans and the national under-18 enforcer believes Draman’s tactical ingenuity accounted for the heavy win.

“It has been a privileged working under this coach (Draman). I tell you he’s been wonderful and I believe the sky will be the limit for him,” Anaba said

“He has done a lot in his short term and he will reap the result of his labour.

“He’s a fantastic coach and I’m really glad to work under him. He deserves lots of commendation”

Draman’s men now hold a major advantage ahead of the return leg fixed for the weekend of 1-3 March.

If the Kotoko fans as well as the officials of the club would open up for this coach, I bet he’s going to be a great asset not only for Kotoko but for the nation as well. First of all, he’s teacher by profession and if you add the teaching experience and the fact that he was a footballer himself is a plus. Not to mention all the endurance and sacrifices he had to go through to become an A coach. I know Didi since infancy and I also know how determined he is. Even though am not a Kotoko fan but Kotoko currently has the best manager in the country. I am a big fan of the destroyers…..yes, I mean Kumasi Cornerstones and so shall I die, Amen!
