Marseille's Andre Ayew will never play for PSG

Andre Ayew says he will never play for Paris Saint-Germain

Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew says he never thought about joining French Ligue 1 big spenders Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

The Olympique Marseille talisman was linked with a move away from the Stade Velodrome before the transfer window shut at the end of August.

Ayew came through the ranks at Marseille just like his junior brother Jordan and has risen to become a firm staple.

His father, Abedi Pele, is a club legend and helped the Olympians to win the UEFA Champions League in 1993.

“It has never been my dream to play for PSG. For me, Marseille is the biggest club in France. It is not a question of the PSG’s image but identity,” the 22-year-old said in an interview.

“I was trained in OM, the club of my father. I grew up here.”

Leaders Marseille host second-place PSG at home in next Sunday’s Classique.

Dede, please never say such things !!!. At your father’s era, there were not much money in soccer in comparison to this contemporary times. OM might even sell you before you realized if an elite club comes with a monster offer.
Just do what you can for OM and leave the future in the hands of God. Who thought Miichel Essien would leave Chelsea one day?
OM might not even win a Championship league again in your life time. My future captain, develop your game and success shall crown you where ever you find yourself.

  2. Eman says:

He didn’t say he would never play for them. GSN editors can’t even write proper articles. Where did he say “I will never play for PSG”? He said it has never been his dream. Very different from him saying he will never play for them.

  3. ANAN-WINKOGO says:

  5. Amankwaa says:

i am surprise why the article was tittles Ayew says he will never play for PSG… He never said that. He said it has never been his dream which is totally different from what the article is portraying. Pls dont put words in Ayew’s mouth. Read the article very well and you will understand what he meant.
