Marseille boss Baup hails Jo Ayew qualities

Posted On Friday, 22nd February 2013

Elie Baup, the Marseille boss, says Jordan Ayew has a great future ahead of him

Olympique Marseille boss Elie Baup has praised the qualities of Ghana attacker Jordan Ayew.

Jordan, 21, is growing from strength to strength and has bagged 10 goals in all competitions for the former European champions.

But Jordan’s poor disciplinary record on the pitch in the Ligue 1 has somehow marred his immaculate season.

However Marseille boss Baup still believes Jordan is hugely talented and could reach his maximum potentials.

“For me he is a huge potential and he has a strong future in football,” he told OM.net.

Jordan is serving a two-match ban and will watch Sunday’s big clash with Paris Saint-Germain on television.

“He is in progress since the beginning of the season, he is a hope, a player who will be important OM in the coming months,” he added.
