The Ashantigold striker has been trying out with the Team of Choice for the past few weeks.
He failed to land a deal at Orlando Pirates over fitness concerns but hopes to be lucky this time around.
United boss Farook Kadodia has revealed they are yet to finalize the signing of the Ghanaian striker.
“Not yet. He (Yakubu Mohammed) is still training and we will see how things go this weekend,†Kadodia
The Pietermaritzburg-based is believed to have been impressed with Mohammed and could offer him a deal this weekend.
