AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has lauded the qualities of Mario Balotelli, describing him as a carbon-copy of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Balotteli has been in fine form since signing from English side Manchester City in January.

The 22-year-old has proved a valuable asset to Milan with impressive performances that has triggered positive comments from manager Massimiliano Allegri.

The two have combined effectively for Milan in recent times and the Ghanaian has been impressed with the Italian's  work ethics.

"Mario is very important for us, he’s like Ibra for strength and technique,” Boateng said

“He’s a fighter and can score goals.

“When he arrived everyone told me to be careful but he is a good boy.

"The last time he slept at Milanello although it was not time to work in the morning, this is the behavior of a professional.”

The ex-Inter Milan striker has scored seven goals in seven matches for the Rossoneri in all competitions since joining in January.
