Marcel Desailly says Milan’s win over Barcelona on Wednesday reminded him of the 1994 Champions League Final victory.

Desailly scored that night as the Rossoneri beat the Spanish giants 4-0, whereas the Diavolo were happy enough with a 2-0 on Wednesday in the first leg of their last 16 tie.

“I have to thank boss Massimiliano Allegri for doing an incredible job, for having that kind of discipline,” the Frenchman told Milan Channel.

“The players showed the Milan character tonight,” he added. “It reminded me of the 4-0 against Barcelona in 1994.

“Tactically and in terms of discipline, the team was perfect with the defence playing high. They pressed players off the ball and they were attentive.”

Desailly was particularly impressed with the performance of Massimo Ambrosini. “He was 17-years-old when he started at Milan and he played a captain’s game tonight.”

Ghanaians I want to ask why are we not using this guy in our football circles? We have a WORLD CUP winning Ghanaian with wide INTERNATIONAL successes and Exposure running A soccer Venture in Ghana and we are ignoring such a human resource. Is it because He played for France and not Ghana? What is the point? Are we not hiring foreign coaches with zero links to Ghana anyway? NINCOMPOOPS and DIMWITS.

No it is because the idiots at GFA are always looking for another idiot, stupid and an uncle toms who thinks like them so they can control. It is hard to do that on foreign coaches.

Desailly, though a Ghanaian with world class accomplishment will not take that bullshit from them period.

      Hummmm…Pito ask again!

The armchair and living room coaches we have in our mist calling A.A’s head have been the same people saying Marcel Desailly has never managed a team so he is not qualified to be BS manager. Marcel Desailly has more experience than most the best coaches in the world. And a good number of best managers in the world today never played football! Marcel Desailly has the credentials to manage any team in the world, and I suggest that Marcel Desailly be made Ghana manager after A.A’s term ends!
