Ghanaian winger Elvis Manu maintained his impressive scoring run by scoring the opener for Excelsior who suffered a 3-2 defeat at Cambuur in the Dutch second-tier on Friday.

The 19-year-old carved the opener for the visitors just after the half hour mark but Mohamed El Makrini equalised for the host three minutes before the break.

Manu who is on loan from Feyenoord, applied a first time accurate volley to a Darren Maatsen cross from the right.

He has now scored 8 times in 13 appearances for Excelsior.

He has featured for the Dutch U19 side but he is still eligible to play for Ghana as both of his parents are from the West African country.
