English giants Manchester United will send their scouts to Sweden on Monday night to monitor sensational Ghanaian winger David Accam, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The Reds are interested in the Helsingborg player following his outstanding showing in the Swedish top-flight so far this season which has prompted scouts of the club to watch him closer.

The 23-year-old Ghana international scored a sensational goal on Thursday in the Swedish Cup which has been drawing attention from several top clubs of Europe.

Manchester United will have their scout watching Accam in Helsingborg tough clash against AIK in Monday night's game which could lead to the decision to sign him if he continues to impress.

Helsingborg coach Roar Hansen has hailed the impact of Accam, likening his importance to his team to that of Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo after his injury-time winner against Malmo.

Accam's impressive strike after galloping from his half of the pitch has received rave reviews all over the world.

The Ghanaian is amongst the leading goalscorer's in the Swedish top flight and has effectively enhanced his chances of making the Black Stars squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

"Real Madrid's coach is well pleased to have Cristiano Ronaldo, and we have David Accam," said Hansen.

Accam is the second highest scorer in Swedish league despite being a winger having scored four goals in six league matches for the club.
