English giants Manchester City have told Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Abu to find a new club, according to reports in Denmark.

The Etihad money-bags feel the midfielder has failed to live up to his potentials and will not include him in their plans as they have told him to search for a new club where he will play on loan.

The 22-year-old joined Danish side Aarhus in September after ending his loan spell in France with Lorient but failed to play a single game due to injury for the club during the first-half of the season.

With his loan period expiring in December, City have told the diminutive midfielder who managed to make the 2012 Ghana AFCON squad to find a new club.

Since signing for the Etihad side four seasons ago, Abu has failed to convince the club of his quality as he has been sent on loan to Norway, Germany, France, Spain and Denmark.

GHANAsoccernet.com investigations have revealed the midfielder has made enquires about clubs in Sweden and Switzerland but his inconsistent form and injury problems could hinder a January move.
