Posted On Monday, 17th September 2012

Malawi national team will play Ghana on October 13 in Lilongwe

Malawi’s return leg 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ghana has been moved to Civo Stadium in the capital Lilongwe on October 13.

The Malawi Government closed Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre due to safety and security fears.

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) is yet to be furnished with the status report of the stadium.

Civo Stadium in Lilongwe will host the match between Malawi and Ghana,” FAM president Walter Nyamilandu told Nyasa Times Newspaper.

Malawi must overturn a 2-0 first leg deficit to realize their dream of a third appearance in the Nations Cup finals.

Dat good for malawi if the match was brought to zed they would have said the malawians fielded some zambians in the match.coz ghana always does nt lose lyk they lost to liberia coz they played first half 4 40 minates lyk liberia played the whole 45 n coz the pitch was bad lyk liberia scored on another pitch.

  2. Joey Crack says:

@ Muka just shut up n focus on Zambia -Uganda.You tink it’s a done deal huh??? The judgement day is surely coming for ur chipolopolo. The Cranes will be defending the cup for u come 2013 insha allahu

  3. Chu says:

by what does malawi mean security? i sense a by force biasness being forced on th referee and therefore our boys must avoidd diving a focus of defending, playing long balls and hitting the counters rather than playing those fruitless barcelona possession which caused us in zambia

  4. selfmade says:

Malawi just like zambia are minnows in football and ll forever carried that tag no matter how hard they try to improved… from fifa to caf, from blatter to issa, from zanzibar to azerbaijan, everyone knows that they won the destiny cup purely by luck and no wonder the story was it was written!!! A new era is about to open, when the shortest champions in history will be dethroned and confined to the dustbin of history… this fluke champions will be rightly place where they always belonged and thats the bottom ranks which always befits them… afcon champions in which their own coach doesn’t even believed in them, referring to them as amateurs! Afcon champions who were disrespected by blatter labelling them as luck
    champions w
ho only won the afcon by lottery of penalties… a team which took more than 50 yrs to win just one cup..a country that can win championship with the help of ghost.. i can see a so called fluke, fake afcon champions not answering the roll call in south africa!!! Uganda will have the honour of representing you and defending your destiny cup for u!! Zambia has being weighed, measured, balanced and are found to be fake and can therefore not represent africa!!! Welcome to namboole!! Viva the revolutioncion!!!

    I like that self made..

  6. sade says:

@selfmade Wow selfmade is back !!!!!! ma man we are waiting 4 the analysis of the liberia and ghana match.do u know that the black stars were outplayed. and do u also know that gyan said ur second best.ok now try to convice me how can a nation which last won a four nation “afcon” tournament in 1982, a team which has failed to win the Liberian Presidential cup……ok leet me atlist admit i have not followed the presidential cup in which ghana participates bt u can be kind enough to tell me how many times u have won it too, have u won it 4 times lyk u did with The 4 nations ‘AFCON” cup.by the way i lyk the emphasis of champions in the same sentence with zambia even a blind man will know zambia are champs kip it selfmade i thot i should commend u

    • One Andy says:

Sade.Just spare your breath bro this guy just talks for the sake of talking. Ghana last won the AFCON via a penalty kick 7-6 against Libya in 1982.He is so drunk with past glory and he doesnt even research before his rantings.Whether we won by chance the fact is the cup is here and even my 9 year old daughter had an opportunity to see the cup which himself has never seen since he was born

  7. sade says:

Oh selfmade i forgot do u also know that in the last five years in which uganda hold they proud unbeaten recond they have played zambia twice n GUESS WHAT THEY HAVE WON lyk mmmmmmmmmmmmmh……..!NONE!!!!! yeah u read dat right NONE….OH sorry bt u can google dat if u lyk ciao….:) :) Viva the revolutioncion

  8. muka says:

@sade ur interesting indid i lyk dat

  9. yvonne says:

who ever thought dat zambia cud win afcon 2012 at the expense of Gh n ivory coast but they did. as u always sing, there re no minnows in football so dnt be surprised wen uganda beat u. afterall, there re no ”minnows” in football ryt??

  10. selfmade says:

@ sade…. ghanaians are not peeved because Liberia beats us and this is not the first time the lone stars has beaten ghana… they did it in our own background when Ghana has the likes of legendary players like pele, tony, arhinful etc.. ghanaians consider liberians as co- equals in football and they have being setback because of the war and that’s why ghanaians aren’t pissed off like when Zambia beat us because for us ,Zambia is below us in terms of football… the mere fact that liberia could beat us at this time should tell any observer that they have real talent and no wonder they are west coast team and therefore no surprises here as compared to some unknown team from southern African by name zambia.. we ll never consider Zambia as a threat to us or as rivals because innately,we know we can atone for the two times lost and the results could even be bigger and massively because Zambia doesn’t even scared Togo for it to scare alright the iconic shinning black star of the black race!!! Black star is symbolic to any African anywhere in the world ad no wonder alot of people here in empire state, new York adore and admire this pride of African football!! For bless the person who name the national team the black stars, simply amazing, iconic and simply scintillating and richless fabulous!!!! I quite remember i was in the train here in the state and donning the ghanaian all white puma jersey with the gfa tag on it and this American black lady simply wanted to have it!!!! Liberia has produced perhaps the greatest African footballer of all times, the only African African footballer with the ballon dor and the world best player award and also winning the african best player award three times in the indispensablepersonality of george oppong weah( remember his father is a ghanaian),for such a country to beat Ghana is no news!!!! People are right when they say Zambia are holders of a destiny cup purely because this is a country that has struggled for than five decades just for one cup and couldn’t succed only when some real giants of African football were absent!!! From a reverse angle, would have Zambia be champions if these teams were present? So are people not right when they say they are Destiny cup holders? When greece won the euro, alot of pple said it was due to luck and others vehemently opposed and proposed that Greece has finally arrived but what happened afterwards, they say is history!!! They couldn’t defend the cup and has since fallen into total oblivion!!! I see Zambia as another African greece and they have already shot themselves in the foot by that one nil soreline with the cranes of uganda and i can see them not even qualifying to defend their destiny luck given cup!!!! They have started showing a similar symptoms of europeen greece!!! Birds of the same feathers flock togather!!! I welcome u all to namboole!!! Viva the revolutioncion!!!!

  11. THE PAPA says:

These Zambians infilterate our website everyday all because they lack that wisdom to build a WORKABLE one for themselves. It would have been interesting had they been a little cautious and professional, but rather, they come here to insult and make a mockery about Ghana as a country and the Black Stars as a team.I pray that GOD will give these Zambians wisdom, moral upgrade, peace, love for what they have and eye opening like how HE has blessed Ghana, to enable them also to operate their own workable site so that they can also catch up with modern civilization

  12. selfmade says:

@ andy one.. as a ghanaian,i have seen better cups than afcon trophy!!! Has Zambians ever seen the worldcup bf? No….. has zambians seen the fifa under 20 worldcup bf? Well no… has zambians seen the fifa under 17 worldcup bf? Nil…. has zambians seen the African champions league cup bf? Zero…. has zambians seen the African confederation cup before? Tweee!!!!…. as a ghanaian i have had the rare privilege and opportunity of seeing these glorify international cups before and not some locally manufactured afcon trophy!!!

  13. Surgeon says:

Hee when u ar good u ar good zambia ar afcon champs respect”in zed we say a child of a which craft does not apriciate what others have done or achievd”.no egypt its zambia ask egypt.
