Accra Hearts of Oak striker Mahatma Otoo sat out of local Black Stars training on Tuesday due to injury.
The 20-year-old picked a knock while in action for Hearts in their 3-1 home reverse to Medeama Sporting Club last Sunday.
He watched from the sidelines as the rest of the 26 players began training at AshGold’s Ofori Panin training grounds.
“The only player who failed to take part of training was Mahatma who took a knock while playing for Hearts on Sunday,” Local Black Stars Management Committee member Kudjo Fianoo told Accra-based Happy FM.
“The doctors looked at him and he will be able to train with the team today,” he added.
