Norway-based attacker Mahatma Otoo has insisted he holds no grudges against Ghana assisted coach Maxwell Konadu who acted as stand-in head coach during the 2015 AFCON qualifiers.

Though Otoo's team got relegated from the Norwegian Eliteserien after the end of the season, the 22-year-old hammered in nine goals in 27 games for Sogndal.

But the former Ghana Premier League Golden Shoe Award winner was overlooked for the squad with Asamoah Gyan out with injury and Jordan Ayew serving suspension for the away visit to Uganda.

Saudi Arabia-based Emmanuel Banahene was preferred by Konadu. And, Otoo has insisted he is not worried by the snub.

"All of us want to play for the nation, but it’s not all of us who will be picked at the same time and besides, every coach has his own set of players he decides to work with at a particular time," he told Sports Crusader.

Otoo has been capped just once by Ghana at senior level - that coming in a friendly game against South Korea.
