Ashantigold captain Louis Agyemang says he is not overly worried with his lack of first team action at the club.

The 30-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular place in Bashir Hayford’s squad this term despite recovering fully from an injury.

The lack of first team action at the club cost him a potential place in the Local Black Stars squad ahead of the 2014 CHAN tournament in South Africa.

However, the ex-Kotoko and Hearts striker says is he keeping cool with the turn of event.

“It’s not a problem at the moment. The coach knows why he is not using me,” Agyemang said

“There are many who are not even parts of the team are. So the fact that I’m in the squad alone is enough for me at the moment. And like I said, just for the moment.

“I was injured but have recovered fully. If you ask me why I am not playing, please ask the coach.”

Agyemang joined the miners from Medeama last year and was handed the captain’s armband following the departure of goalkeeper Fatau Dauda.
