Coach Tony Lokko insists he has no regrets joining Berekum Chelsea despite their poor performance this season.

Lokko left Amidaus Professionals last season haven impressed with the side in their debut season in the Ghanaian top flight.

Lokko's move to Chelsea was seen by many as a step forward in enhancing his coaching career.

The Blues' struggles this season however paints a different picture which has got many thinking again that perhaps the switch was ill-timed.

But Lokko is adamant the move to Chelsea was a good one despite the serious challenges facing the Berekum-based side this term.

"I don't regret at all. I mean Chelsea is a bigger platform," he told Peace FM.

"It's a new environment and I am relishing this challenge."

Chelsea are currently 12th in the Ghanaian top flight - just a point above the drop zone.
