Local Black Stars to leave on Wednesday for Libya friendly
Ghana's local Black Stars squad.

The Local Black Stars will leave Accra on Wednesday for Tunisia to face Libya in an international friendly.

The team headed by Maxwell Konadu have been camping in Obuasi for the assignment with 22 players.

They beat Obuasi-based third-tier side Shooting Stars 7-0 in a friendly played at the Len Clay.

Ghana's friendly against Libya is to prepare the side for next year's African Nations Championship finals in South Africa.

The local Black Stars qualified to the finals of the tournament without kicking a ball following Benin's withdrawal.
