Ghana’s home-based national team’s intended friendly match with Libya is back on.
Talks between the Ghana FA and their Libyan counterparts appeared to have hit a snag with doubts over the date and venue for the intended friendly.
The game is however back on after weeks of discussion.
The match is to prepare the local Black Stars for next year’s CHAN tournament in South Africa.
Head coach Maxwell Konadu is to hold further talks with the Ghana FA to finalize preparations towards the friendly match against the north Africans.
“It is likely we will play against Libya as they have confirmed the friendly,” he told Metro FM.
“Details of the match will be announced in due time as I am on my way to finalize talks with the Ghana FA.”
Ghana secured qualification to their third successive CHAN finals without kicking a ball following the withdrawal of Benin in the qualifiers.
