Konadu earned a draw against Libya which is coached by Spain’s 1994 and 1998 World Cup coach Javier Clemente.
The 1992 Olympian also beat Ethiopia who are coached by the 62-year-old Sewnet Bishaw.
Konadu won the Ghana Premier League with Asante Kotoko two season ago but resigned after he was named assistant coach of the senior national team.
