The four-nation tournament Ghana (local Black Stars) was expected to participate in has been postponed indefinitely.
The competition to be hosted in Brazil has been hit with a last minute pull out by one of the participating teams.
Organizers of the tournament have thus postponed the competition until such a time a replacement is found.
“The organizers informed us I think on Thursday that one of the teams have pulled out in the last minute,” chairman of the local Black Stars management committee Fred Pappoe told Asempa FM.
“So they have asked us to hold on as they look for a replacement before rescheduling the tournament.”
The team will now break camp until a new date for the competition is fixed.
