Livorno chairman Aldo Spinelli has passed a damning verdict over this season’s performance of Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan.

The 21-year-old who is on loan from Italian giants Inter has made 13 starts for the Dark Red this season.

Duncan was expected to have improved his form during his loan stint with the Serie-A strugglers as he look to return to Inter as a regular first team player.

But Livorno chairman Spinelli says the Ghanaian has been the worst performer of his side this term.

“In this moment is that, unfortunately, is the most disappointing of all,” he said.

“Last year was the author of a great championship, and this year went very intermittently.

“I can say that we were expecting something extra that up to this time has not yet given.”

Duncan is expected to return to Inter when his loan spell at Livorno expires at the end of the current campaign.
