Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu got on the score-sheet for Udinese in their lopsided 6-1 win over Italian fourth-tier side San Deniele in a warm-up friendly on Thursday.
The 23-year-old scored the third goal for Les Zebrette in the 58th minute to register his first goal in the new calender year.
"I scored in the friendly yesterday and I hope it becomes a good beginning to the year for me," he said.
Badu initiated his own attack from the center by playing a long pass to team-mate Oir whose return pass met the on-rushing Ghanaian to coolly finish off with a gentle tap-in.
Liverpool scouts have been watching the workaholic Ghanaian and have recommended him to Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.
